MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. -- Altro Pharmaceuticals is negotiating with chain drug retailers and working with wholesalers to bang InstaKool to the mass market.

Nortech Labs manufactures the product, described as having the ability to deliver instant pain relief in a formula free of ammonium nitrate (AN).

According to Nortech, there are few restrictions on obtaining AN, one of the most hazardous of all globally distributed materials. AN is found in cold packs and other first aid products commonly kept in such venues as households, schools and the workplace.
